Dominic Docherty BA (Hons) MSc Business Economics

Dominic founded, BIOS, at the young age of 25 in 2002. In July 2011, BIOS were named as 'Best System Integrator for 2011' in Network Middle East's Innovation Awards.

Having begun his career as a Systems Engineer for Cisco Systems and then as a Network Design Specialist for Global Crossing, Dominic has over 15 of years’ experience designing and implementing complex and expert IT solutions and a further 10 Managing BIOS.

BIOS was founded to help companies meet a specific need namely; to help them use better technology to achieve better profits and growth. This unique focus on bridging the gap between Business and Technology has been the catalyst behind the rapid growth of BIOS.

 

Ash Khan Beng (Hons), MSc Delivery Director

Ash was appointed Project Director in December 2009 with responsibility for Project Management, Service Delivery, and Support. He possesses over 17 years of industry experiencing delivering corporate business change by aligning IT solutions with business strategy.

Ash started his career at one of Europe's largest transport companies where he quickly progressed from a management trainee to being appointed as General Manager for a motor dealership franchise. As Arriva entered new markets across Europe he was appointed to work directly for the Board of Directors in a number of positions, initially as Business Systems Manager, and latterly as European IT Strategy Manager.

In 2001 Ash moved to Pipex plc, a UK listed IT and IP services provider. At Pipex he was responsible for the delivery and implementation of complex hosting and managed services across multiple datacenters for FTSE 100 companies. Holding a number of key roles he progressed from Programme Manager to Head of Professional Services. Prior to joining BIOS he ran his own Project Management Consultancy. Ash brings his depth of experience, technical skills and management capabilities to his current position.

Adam Wolf MSc BSc (Hons) Technical Director

Adam joined BIOS in 2008 and is a board member and our Technical Director. He has a Masters Degree and more than 10 years of experience in IT which has included working in one of the UK's largest System Integrators, ANS Group plc. Adam has been instrumental in developing BIOS into one of regions most capable cloud systems integrators. Major landmark achievements of his tenure as a board member are achieving VMware Premier Partner Status, NetApp Platinum, Cisco Gold and launching online backup and hosting brands.  

Adam has the capability to break down complex IT solutions into easy to understand language for his customers. Being commercially savvy with a strong technical background ensures that BIOS are renowned as innovators and leaders in their field. Along with achieving in excess of 100% growth in the same period; BIOS are now established as a major force in datacenter and cloud technologies.

Adam continues to work hard to help bring on board leading brands to BIOS’s burgeoning customer base. In his time he has secured major contracts with companies such as OSN, Etisalat, DanaGas, AECOM, American University of Sharjah, TDIC, Mubadala Petroleum, Chalhoub Group, GHD, Booz&Co, DP World and Dubai Police. 

 

 

Ian Grisdale BA (Hons) Sales Director

Ian has over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, most notably he was a founding member of an IT Start-Up Consultancy in the UK where he ultimately led the sales team. Ian was later head-hunted by Cisco where he looked after the British Telecom Account (Cisco’s largest customer in Europe

In November 2011 Ian joined BIOS and made an immediate impact by securing major projects with key strategic clients such as DP World, WS Atkins, Barclays Bank and Mubadala leading the sales team by example and was subsequently promoted to Sales Director.
