# BIOS honored with an award at the 2017 Cisco partners event

At the recently held ‘Partners for Success’ event that took place in Fairmont Hotel (Palm Jumeirah), Cisco honored BIOS with the “Services Partner of the Year” award for top performance in the local cloud service providing sector.

The Cisco Partners event and awards ceremony celebrated top performing tier-2 channel partners and focused on the opportunities and rapid growth that digital transformation brings to businesses and the technology industry in the UAE and across the region. As the only Cisco-powered cloud service provider in the region, BIOS has made an undeniable contribution to the development of the local IT market and has been recognized for its outstanding performance in the sector.

BIOS Middle East is a Cisco Master Cloud and Managed service partner that has leveraged various Cisco services while helping UAE businesses reach new strategic goals in a variety of industry sectors including healthcare, finance and consumer goods.

Being an indisputable leader in the cloud service sector, BIOS has managed to maintain its CSPP metrics with more than a 90% of attaching and 50% renewals, quarter on quarter. This has aided the acceleration of the company’s breakthrough in the commercial service industry and resulted in a 34% YoY growth. Where other cloud service providers fail to deliver, BIOS pushes the boundaries of success by offering fully managed, locally-based service packages that include IaaS, DRaaS, as well as database management and security services, among many others. The 24/7 service support and minimized downtime and data loss are only a few of the many factors that helped BIOS become an award-winning leader in the local cloud computing industry.  
The awards presented at the Cisco Partners event recognize innovative practices, best-in-class business strategies, and sales approaches that are adopted by local and regional partners who aim at transforming the information technology sector in the Middle East.
